Puerto Rico

Me and my boo just got back from a wonderful trip celebrating our anniversary in Puerto Rico. If you are ever able, you must visit this beautiful island. The people are very friendly. And, although it's a Spanish-speaking country, everyone is eager to accommodate you.
But do yourself a favor, go stay in the mountains. We stayed in Caguas at the Four Points Sheraton Resort. It is beautiful. We gambled a little...got great sleep and really saw the nature of Puerto Rico.
We spent most of our time in Old San Juan. The forts are wonderful and awe-inspiring.
And the Bacardi factory is a wonderful place to see, whether you drink or not. You can find out all about Puerto Rican rum, the Bacardi family, the beginning of the Art Deco era, and all the different types of rum produced by Barcardi. And you get 2 free drink tickets....Anybody for a Mojito?
But I'll just let the pics do the talking. Next trip, we'll take some models and do it up with a fashion shoot.

Arrested Development

The year has proven to be one of new adventures to become more deeply entrenched in the fashion styling biz. I was given the honor of designing and styling the beautiful ladies of Arrested Development. Along with my wonderful Jewelry Designer Erica Adams, we created several looks for Nicha & Fareedah to rock while on their Australian tour. We merged vibrant colors and and rustic earth materials that are are true to the style of AD.

Speech, Nicha and Fareedah were great to work with. Their new CD s off the chain. Make sure you check them out on Myspace.com

I very much look forward to working with them again. They are a wonderful bunch of people.

Retrospect....

Hey Everyone.....

I know I haven't been keeping up with thing like I should. But it's been a long and busy year.

We worked for several months and pulled off the Living In Your Pride Fashion Show for In The Life Atlanta. It was a great success and I am very proud to have been a part of it. I met a lot of great designers and models.
Sometimes you have to take time to give the inexperienced people a chance. They can prove to be the best people you can work with. I have worked with a lot of photographers, models and designers who are just starting in this business. They have shown me what talent is. I had some concerns when I initially saw them....but they did nothing but make me feel proud and honored for the opportunity to work with them. Don't sleep on photographers, MUAs, models and designers from ATL. We are bringing a new, fresh look to the world of fashion.
I have to send special shouts out to Corey Guinn, James Berry, Anthony Criss, Alexis Benjamin, Mykkal McKoy, Jerry Boles, Edward Morrow, Malik Williams and my partner, Jeff Roman. Without them, I would not be where I am. They helped build me and CöD Fashions into what it has become. All of them took a chance on my dreams and visions on what I believed fashion to be. Thank guys...you all have my love, respect, and support in all that you do.
I will continue with more on the year's adventures over the next few days.

Stay tuned....
